This notice explains the patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret rights that Smartreview AI Pvt Ltd (CIN: U62091KA2026PTC223899) ("Smartreview AI", "we", "us") holds in the Trust-IQ Score™ and in the systems and methods used to produce it, and what you may and may not do with them. It applies to everyone who visits smartreviewai.io, uses a Trust-IQ Score™, or receives our methodology, parameter library or audit materials.
How a score is produced is described in the Trust-IQ Score™ Methodology. If this notice and the Methodology differ on how a score is calculated, the Methodology prevails. If either conflicts with a signed agreement with us, the signed agreement prevails.
Publication is not permission.We publish how the score works so buyers and Partners can understand it. Publishing it grants no license under any patent, trademark, copyright or trade secret.

The Trust-IQ Score™
The Trust-IQ Score™ is a 0-100 score for a business software product, produced only from the results of an evidence-based audit run by Smartreview AI. In summary:

Evidence in, one number out.
A Partner answers each applicable parameter and supplies the evidence it requires. A named Smartreview AI auditor decides and records every result. AI tools may assist auditors; no result is published on automated output alone.
One calculation, equal weight.
The score is the average of all applicable parameter scores, shown out of 100 and rounded to the nearest whole number. There are no domain weightings, no hidden multipliers and no fixed number of parameters.
A 12-month cycle.
Every applicable parameter is audited once every 12 months. Results whose evidence expires are reviewed quarterly. Every score and certification expires 12 months after its audit and never renews automatically.
Evidence only.
User reviews, star ratings, payments, plan tier, advertising, buyer activity and web sentiment never count toward the score. Partners pay for the audit service, never the result.
Our protected subject matter is the systems and methods behind this process, including the parameter library, evidence standards, audit workflow, validity and expiry rules, scoring and publication systems, and the software that runs them, whether or not each element is described on this page.

Patent and Ownership
The Trust-IQ Score™, its methodology, and the systems and methods used to produce, maintain and publish it are the exclusive property of Smartreview AI Pvt Ltd. They are protected by patent applications filed by Smartreview AI Pvt Ltd, and by trademark, copyright and trade secret law in India and other jurisdictions.
Copying is not permitted.No one may copy, imitate, reproduce, implement or commercially exploit the Trust-IQ Score™ methodology or its systems and methods, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. Any infringement will attract strict legal action under applicable law.

Trademarks
"Smartreview AI" and "Trust-IQ Score" are trademarks of Smartreview AI Pvt Ltd. Applications to register them have been filed in India. Our logos, badges, seals and certificate designs are also our trademarks and trade dress.
Use our marks only as licensed in a written agreement with us, or as the law allows to refer accurately to our products and services.
Do not use our marks in a domain name, product name, company name, social media handle or advertising keyword.
Do not alter, recolor, distort or combine our marks with other marks.
Do not use our marks to suggest that we endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with you or your product.
Other product and company names on our site may be trademarks of their owners. We use them only to identify the products we list and score; this does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link to the source page, to the extent fair dealing or fair use allows.

Confidential Information and Trade Secrets
We publish the structure and arithmetic of the score. We do not publish, and treat as confidential and as trade secrets:
the text of each parameter and its guidance;
the evidence each parameter requires;
audit procedures and auditor notes;
integrity, fraud and manipulation detection techniques; and
our internal tools, models and data.
Partners see the full parameter library for their category in the Partner workspace before they submit. That access is given in confidence, solely to complete an audit, under the Master Services Agreement. It transfers no ownership, and the material may not be shared, copied or reused for any other purpose, during or after the relationship.

What You May Do
Without asking us, you may:
read the Methodology and this notice, and share links to them and to public score pages;
cite a product's current Trust-IQ Score™, together with its valid-until date and a link to its live page on smartreviewai.io;
use scores and public product profiles to inform your own procurement and risk decisions;
comment on, review or report on the Trust-IQ Score™ with attribution; and
if you are a Partner with a current score, display your badge as your agreement with us allows.

What You May Not Do
Unless we agree in writing, you must not:
(a) copy, adapt, translate or create derivative works of the methodology, parameter library, guidance or audit materials;
(b) use any of them, in whole or in part, to build, train, benchmark or improve a competing scoring, rating, review, audit or certification product, service or dataset;
(c) reverse-engineer, probe or try to derive unpublished parameters, guidance, evidence requirements or detection techniques, including by submitting test or sham audits;
(d) describe any product, framework or service as Trust-IQ compliant, aligned, equivalent or based, or offer audit preparation in a way that suggests our endorsement;
(e) scrape our scores, profiles or data by automated means, or ingest our methodology, scores, profiles or data into any machine-learning or AI system;
(f) use our trademarks, badges or scores except as licensed; or
(g) remove, obscure or alter any proprietary, copyright or patent notice.
Every completed audit is certified with its published score, whatever that score is. A score is accurate only for its validity period. Anyone who shows a Trust-IQ Score™ or badge must:
show only a current score, together with its valid-until date;
link every badge shown outside smartreviewai.io to the product's live page on smartreviewai.io;
stop showing a score or badge when it expires or is withdrawn; and
not present a score as a warranty, an endorsement, or a guarantee of security or fitness for purpose.
A badge without a working link to its live page should not be relied on. After 12 months, an expired score is shown as "Audit expired" until a new audit is completed. Misrepresenting a score or certification is a material breach of our terms and may also be unlawful advertising.

Enforcement
The score is only useful if it cannot be copied, imitated or misrepresented, so we protect these rights. Where we find infringement, misuse or misappropriation, we may, as the law and our agreements allow:
ask that the use stop;
withdraw affected scores, certifications or badges, and suspend or close accounts, listings or partnerships;
seek injunctive relief, damages, an account of profits and costs; and
report the conduct to platforms, registries or authorities.
We actively monitor for misuse of our methodology, marks, scores and data, and will take strict legal action against infringement under applicable law.

Governing Law
This notice is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are resolved as set out in Section 13 (Dispute Resolution) of our Terms & Conditions, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
